Part of an engine valve train, Rocker Arm Assembly #4848552 transfers motion from the camshaft to the valves. Consisting of a rocker shaft and mounted rocker arms, the camshaft's rotation pushes against the rocker arm, which transfers motion to the valve, opening or closing it. The rocker arm also aids in controlling the timing and duration of valve openings by pushing down on the valve stem.
